Indian Queens and Landulph Refurbishment

Jan 7, 2016

National Grid will be carrying out essential refurbishment of the overhead line between the Indian Queens and Landulph substations during 2016. The 50km route has 145 pylons.

NG has already written directly to farms which will be affected by the work to get permissions for access. However, there will be some road disruption to some local roads starting in April 2016, and finishing by late autumn 2016. You can pick up a leaflet that explains more about the refurbishment at the Spar shop in Menheniot or get up to date information direct from the NG website here.

If you have any questions while the maintenance work is taking place, please call their community relations team on 0800-073 1047. The team is available seven days a week from 7am to 7pm.

When the parish council receive notices about roads that are affected, we will post details on this website.
