Allotment Survey 2019

We have received enquiries from plot holders about the number of plots that you can hold. It’s not usually an issue until we have a request from someone wanting to take on a plot for the first time. To help councillors decide on what the policy should be, we’re asking you to take part in a short survey. Follow this link to complete it online:

If you need a paper copy, please phone 01579-342437 and we’ll send you a copy. Deadline for your answers is 28 February. (posted 23 January 2019)

Growing spaces?

If you want to grow your own or have just run out of space in your garden, you can rent an allotment close the Menheniot village centre. For your just £12 per year, you can have a growing space of your own, with secure access and in the company of other friendly and enthusiastic gardeners. The allotments are situated on East Road, Menheniot, adjacent to the Methodist Church, near William Laundry Close.

Interested? Contact us to find out what availability is. You can download our FAQs and a  Tenancy Agreement  here to check out the terms and conditions. Contracts are payable in advance from January each year (even if you take a plot after this date, we will bill you for the full amount).
